Take Charge of Your Health and Wellbeing

Are you ready to take charge of your health and wellbeing?  Can Chinese Medicine help you with that intention?

An excellent website from the University of Minnesota, Taking Charge of your Health & Wellbeing, lists numerous researched studies of the efficacy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, or TCM.  In addition to the research are descriptions of the causes of disharmony in the body.  For example the author explains that when all parts of any system are in harmony, then the entire system is in harmony.  But when one aspect of a system is disturbed, the ripples run throughout the whole system.

Applying that to the whole human being, including body, mind, and spirit, one can begin to truly understand how a chronic emotional upset could lead to illness, or conversely, how a still mind can facilitate healing.  Chinese medicine can be a great ally in this quest.

There are many links to the specifics of acupuncture, cupping, Chinese herbs, Qigong, Moxibustion, etc. that are well written and clarifying. You’ll find the answers to many of your questions about this effective, gentle, and very safe medicine.  And by the way, we are the fastest growing medical profession in the world!  Woohoo!!
